Me, my boyfriend (Aaron), and my parents are all very big fans of The Ricky Gervais Show, the podcasts, and An Idiot Abroad, and when Aaron and I heard that there was going to be a season 2 of An Idiot Abroad we were both very excited. Karl Pilkington is hilarious and I cannot wait for the next season the show.
Being an introverted type of person, and I'm guessing that Karl is somewhat introverted as well, it blows my mind to see to what distances that Ricky and Stephen push Karl to. A few months ago an angry phone call from Karl to Ricky made it to the internet and it made me feel a bit sad for Karl and how Ricky and Stephen do seem to push him around, but on the other hand I think how lucky Karl really is. He gets to travel abroad to many different places and now experience things that most people will never ever get to do in their lifetimes. He's incredibly lucky to have been given such a (although difficult and strenuous) opportunity.

Now that looks fun! And you can't feel too terrible for Karl knowing that he is earning tons of cash to set him up for a comfortable life. He even says so quite simply in this BAFTA interview:
Frankly, I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for this show to premiere on the 23rd. In England and Iceland it plays on the channel "Sky1" while here in America it is shown on "The Science Channel". I remember reading a review about it being on "The Science Channel" and someone saying something like, "What is scientific about An Idiot Abroad? The only thing science worthy is Karl's head." [Or something like that.] Hilarious.
Is anyone else out there as excited for this show as I am? I hope so!
