A very lesser known Crass Records band called Honey Bane. I haven't listened to much Honey Bane, but I do love this song and want to try to get my hands on a vinyl copy of "You Can Be You".

My Love Of Home Libraries
It is one of my ultimate dreams in life to one day own a home that has a wonderful library for me to freely organize all of my books in a beautiful way. Until then I'll just have to oogle the millions of beautiful pictures I find of book shops, home libraries, book collections, libraries etc. that I find online. Perhaps you will find some sort of lovely inspiration in these photos as well.
| Shakespeare and Company, famous bookstore in Paris, France |
| Canis Lupis |

(Unfortunately a lot of the photos I found didn't have a source listed. I do not take any claim to any of these photos, I am just simply an admirer.)

Music Suggestion: The Anorexic Olsen Twin - "I Guess That Is What Brains Look Like"
Another Chris Burrows band, one of my favorite albums ever is their self titled album (which luckily you can order for only $5, or as their site says "if you are poor you can download it here").
Everyone loves a good zombie love song.

Top 5 Reasons I Wish I Was Predator
So Aaron and I have been watching a lot of Predator and Alien (Alien version of this coming soon) and I've been inspired to bring out the inner alien in me, so here are the top 5 reasons I would love to be Predator.
![]() |
| Real life rendition if I was Predator (blood from a zombie Halloween costume) |
- ALIEN SPECIES: Predator is first and foremost a badass alien. Now, it's easy to say that every person out there reading this loves aliens and wishes that in another life they will become an alien, and I am definetly one of those people. Aliens are always crazy ass creatures and that is something I aspire to be.
- INVISIBILITY-ISH CAMOUFLAGE: Predator can do that cool clear outline thing that helps him become sort of, somewhat, invisible. Now this may not seem like that big of an advantage because every time Predator does become "invisible" people can still see him, so who knows what real advantage that has, but, uhm hello? That's badass.
- FISHNET OUTFIT: Now for some reason Predator finds it essential to his "look" to always be wearing a fishnet body outfit, why you ask? Who the fuck knows why, but it's obviously purely for fashion. Now you can say that Predator is horrible and a gruesome creature, but he's got a fashion sense that keeps him motivated at all times, clearly.
- ARTHROPOD-LIKE MANDIBLES: Every time Predator takes off his mask you see his great smile, that crazy pincher-like mouth and I know if you're like me, you're thinking, "Who does his teeth?!" And then the envy just washes over you as you wish your mouth was as creative and extreme as his. The benefits of such a mouth are thus:
- No chewing problem: no matter how tough your food is, it's going down nice and smooth.
- Dental hygiene: now I know you're thinking that with a mouth that big and so many oddly placed teeth that keeping those pearly whites always shining would be a challenge, but I think not, because you just crack that mouth open wide and you don't have to try to get that brush in small places because the teeth are all there, easily accessed. Plus no flossing needed.
- A+ smile: you will always look great in photos. - GREEN GLOWING BLOOD: I'm sure you're wondering what the benefits of green glowing blood is, but it's quite obvious. When you get shot or stabbed or otherwise wounded while trying to kill humans, it's easy to see where the wound is and take care of it in proper time to prevent infections and the such.
So as you can see from my top 5 reasons I would love to be Predator, the benefits of being Predator are really endless.
Do you agree? Do you feel there are more benefits? Let me know if you think there are better reasons that should of made the top 5.

Book Review: Catching Fire and Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
So about a week ago I mentioned how I started reading The Hunger Games and how much of a fun read it was, well within the past week or so I finished both the second and third (and the last) of the trilogy, Catching Fire and Mockingjay, and was very pleased with my readings.
Obviously I don't want to give anything away for any potential readers out there, but I will say this, the ending of the final book left me a little disappointed. I was kind of expecting this huge climatic ending that would go out in a blaze and glory and then settle down to tell the final ending and what happens after all the goings on and whatnots, but I was let down and given a somewhat un-climatic ending. Yes it ended on a somewhat good note, but it left me feeling like none of the characters really experience a true "happy ending" kind of end. Obviously not all people, and not all fictional characters, have a happy ending, but I was just expecting after so many trials and tribulations that there would be a little more light at the end of the tunnel. I felt like Collins almost was exhausted after writing all the books that she just ended it in a way that did not match the rest.
Not to say that I didn't enjoy all of it! No, no, no, exactly the opposite, I enjoyed all the books and would highly suggest reading it if you enjoy adventurous fictional tales.
Other than that I will leave you with these links for you to form your own opinion (and perhaps hear feedback from others on their out takes once finished with all three).
I foresee these books becoming very popular after the release of the movie next year.
